I am loving these Fair/Unfair Godmother books. Seriously, they are historical (fairy tale) fiction, adventure, romance, and comedy all in one book. This one took me a little while to get into, but once I did, I couldn't put it down.

I liked this book because it was a paranormal YA novel that didn't have (A) a love triangle and (B) vampires. Hooray! It was refreshing to read something different. I look forward to the next novel in the series!

Review: City of Fallen Angels

City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare

My rating: 3 of 5 stars



I actually think this is one of my favorite books in the series. So, why the three-star rating? Because this was not the last book. No seriously, it's ending is killing me. It's time to wrap this story up. I was pleasantly surprised by this book in that I found it interesting and intriguing. Enough to keep me up until 2 a.m. to finish it. And then I finished it. And I said, "NOOOOOOO!" It kind-of bugs me when the story is continuing just for sake of continuing.

Of course, I will most likely read the next book. But seriously, Cassandra, give us some closure and move on.
